The Fund aims to provide capital growth in excess of the FTSE All Share (Gross Total Return) Index (after fees have been deducted) over a three to five year period by investing in equity and equity related securities of UK companies that have suffered a severe setback in either share price or profitability.

Bio
Andrew Lyddon joined Schroders as a graduate in 2005 and have spent most of my time in the business as part of the UK equities team. Between 2006 and 2010 I was a research analyst responsible for producing investment research on companies in the UK construction, business services and telecoms sectors. In mid 2010 I joined Kevin Murphy and Nick Kirrage on the UK value team.

Bio
Nick joined Schroders in 2001, initially working as part of the Pan European research team, providing insight and analysis on a broad range of sectors including transport, aerospace, mining and chemicals. In 2006, with Kevin Murphy, he took over management of a fund that seeks to identify and exploit deeply out-of-favour investment opportunities. In 2010, with Kevin, he also took over management of the team’s flagship UK value fund, seeking to offer income and capital growth. Nick has a Masters degree in aeronautical engineering and is a CFA Charterholder.
