Rosan Select
Rosan Select offers investors an opportunity to buy online our preferred funds on preferential terms either inside or outside the ISA wrapper.

Funds within Rosan Select portfolios are selected and monitored to ensure that they retain a consistent profile in their industry sector or geographic region. Investors may deal online without specific advice by choosing a UK portfolio, for example, rather than research the entire market themselves.
Each of the portfolios will typically hold between three and five funds and each fund will have an equal weighting in the portfolio. For example, there are four funds in the ‘Rosan Select UK Equity Income Portfolio’, so each manager will be responsible for 25 per cent of your investment.
Funds bought by investors through Rosan Select are bought without individual investment advice and are therefore bought on an ‘execution only’ basis. Please contact us if you are uncertain as to whether a fund is appropriate to your personal circumstances.
Rosan Helmsley is proud to have partnered with Fidelity, who are the world’s largest independently owned fund management group and operator in the UK of the largest fund supermarket platform.

A word about risk...
Buying investment funds means investors are purchasing shares. Although the level of risk taken on will be different across the various Rosan portfolios, all the portfolios contain shares. Many advisory businesses classify risk according to a scale e.g. 1 to 5 or 1 to 10. We believe that investor risk is an individual assessment that is often beyond the scope of a simple scale. A retired individual with no investment experience may consider losing 5 per cent of their capital “high risk”, whereas a thirty year old investment professional may consider a short term capital loss of 30 per cent “medium risk”.
The reality is that all shares and bonds have the capacity to lose value and investors should remember that past performance is not a guide to the future. The price of investments and the income from them may fall as well as rise and investors may not get back the full amount invested. The level of tax benefits and liabilities will depend on individual circumstances and may change in the future. An investor's capital in a bank or building society is secure whereas in a stock market linked investment it is exposed to a degree of risk.
The investment objective of a fund may allow some flexibility in terms of portfolio composition. Exchange rate changes may cause the value of underlying overseas investments to go down as well as up. Investments in emerging markets may involve a higher element of risk due to political and economic instability and underdeveloped markets and systems. Investors in smaller companies may involve a higher degree of risk as small cap markets tend to be much more volatile than their larger capitalisation counterparts. Where a fund invests in non-investment grade bonds an increased risk to the capital will arise.
